Devin Goldstein 
HIP HOP 

Dance has always been a part of Devin's life. She was dancing even before she could walk! Dancing in a studio since the age of 4, Devin trained in ballet, tap, jazz and then eventually hip hop where she found her true passion. She trained for many years under some of the top professional instructors in Montreal at the 8 Count Dance Complex on performance and competition teams. Devin got the chance to learn from world renound choreographers at numerous conventions she attended. She became so inspired by those around her that she eventually started to choreograph herself, which is when she realized what she was meant to do in life; teach dance and express her creativity through movement. Owning a studio is truly a dream come true for her and she wants to lead with passion and love. Nothing brings her more joy then seeing her students live through the art of dance and inspiring the next generation the way her teachers inspired her.

Lorena Leibman 
HIP HOP

Lorena has been dancing professionally for the past 20 years. She began her training in various styles such as ballet, tap, jazz and then eventually Hip Hop. She is a member of Blueprint Cru which was the first international dance team to be featured on MTV'S Americas Best Dance Crew, making it all the way to the finals. Her training and career have brought her around the world to teach and perform on some of the biggest platforms in the entertainment industry.  She has a passion for choreographing and sharing her knowledge, wisdom and training with the next generation of dancers.  

 

  • Movies & TV: Step Up 5 the movie, Cirque de Soleils NBA Allstar opening number, Canadas Got Talent, La Voix,, Les Dieux de La Danse, Just for Laughs Gala 

  • Choreographed for artists: Marie Mai, Carly Rae Jepson, Cee-lo Green and Kristina Maria

Gabriella Cesari 
HIP HOP

Gabriela started dancing at the age of 3 training in several different street styles, concentrating on Hip Hop. She has been competing for years at various competitions such as Hip Hop International, Hit the Floor, etc.

Gabriela has always used dancing as one of her outlets and she hopes to provide the same "home feeling" and love she would always receive at her studio to all of her students. 

 

Gabriella danced at the Irish world championships held on Canada day in Montreal with her team "RCKLSS". She also danced background in Autour de Minuit; in cabaret historique. Gabby Preformed in numerous professional dance productions such as; Michael Jackson club 30s, and "Ghost", where she gained a lot of performance experience.

Alicia Blair-Cigna 

HIP HOP

Alicia has been dancing for 19 years and teaching for 6. Alicia is a versatile dancer trained in Hip Hop & Ballroom. The challenge of creating and experimenting through choreography for her students brings her a great sense of joy and satisfaction. The ability to express herself through movement and choreography are the reasons why she is so passionate about dance.

  • Represented Canada at the 2019 World Hip Hop Championships in Arizona  

  • Stage Shows: Montreal Halloween Festival, Juste Pour Rire, Hit The Floor Showcase 

  • Television appearances: Les Dieux de la Danse, Just For Laughs, Canada Day celebration 

  • Backup dancer for: Carly Rae Jepson, Olivier Dion and Rachid Badouri

Sofa

HIP HOP & POPPING

Sofa is a technically trained dancer who found a love for popping and hip hop. She then learned to love teaching through assisting and teaching her own classes in community centers and in studios. She loves that teaching gives her the privilege to share her passion and continuously learn through her student's growth. 

 

  • Attended one year of the street dance school: Paris Dance School (house, old school hip hop, new style hip hop, locking, breaking, etc) 

  • DEC in contemporary dance from Saint-Laurent Cegep 

  • Mentored by freakwenC in popping 

  • Battles: Fresh to Death, Under Pressure, Queen's Creation and In My Feels

Jackie Berkowitz 
 HIP HOP

​Jackie began dancing at the age of 3, training in ballet and hip hop, but immediately grew a passion for hip hop. She continued taking hip hop classes and has now been competing and performing with various teams for almost 8 years winning many awards along the way. She now takes great pleasure in teaching and choreographing with hopes to inspire her students. Dancing has always been a way for Jackie to escape and reduce stress. Therefore, her goal is to create a positive, relaxing environment for her students by allowing them to express themselves and bond with their classmates!

Fizz
HIP HOP & POPPING

Faiyaz Sardar, known as Fizz, is a dancer from Montreal who is a member of SankChewAir-E. He has been dancing for the past 13 years doing hip hop choreography and popping. He appears on season 2 of “Revolution” and season 4 of “Family Feud Canada”.

Anthony Calma-Burke, known as FreakWen-C Member of Montreals Symbiotic Monsters and Toronto's Moon Runners. Popping Specialist and Choreographer with 18 years experience. World hiphop Champion 2013 (choreographer) WOD judge 2017 and Revolution:S1(choreographer)

Tommy Nuguid
HIP HOP & KRUMP & POPPING 

Tommy Nuguid, also known as Sin'cere aka Twinn 7Starr is a Krump dancer from Canada representing the 7*Skopez Fam and SankchewairE. He is currently the "Gutta Zone" (Canada) House Of Kardz Champion for the 2nd year in a row. He was also amongst the Qualifiers for "The EXP" Krump Tournament (USA) organized by Solow in 2019 and has represented Krump in "Révolution: S1" Quebec's dance TV show.

Jessica Chen  

HIP HOP 

Jessica is a hip hop dancer with a background in technical dance. From a young age, Jessica has always had a passion for music and movement, so it didn’t take long before she started training seriously on competitive teams. She has trained under some of the top choreographers in Canada and traveled across the country to take workshops and gain more skill and knowledge in her domain. Not only a professional dancer, Jessica is an Interior Designer where her creativity shines as well. She has a true love for teaching teens and helping them see that through dance anything is possible.  

 

  • Represented Canada at the World Hip Hop Championships in Arizona, 2013, 2016 & 2019 

  • Backup dancer for: Troy Fernandes, Jonas & the Massive Attraction, Carly Rae Jepson 

  • Performed on stage with Comedian Rachid Badouri  

  • Coached competitive teams for the past 7 years 

Victoria Kupracz
 HOP HOP

Victoria loves to dance and teach. She’s danced for 14 years, competed for 4 years; as a crew and duo in hip hop. She’s done numerous street battles, as well as performed at some amazing venues/ events. She trained in Hip Hip, Popping (mentored by FreakenC), Freestyle,House, Locking, Dancehall, and also trained at numerous workshops and dance conventions in the US.  

 

Victoria got invited to compete in Vancouver at the Dance World Cup , and won best performance out of 450 contestants for her Hip hop duo. Vic got chosen to perform for Justin Beiber at the bell Center and also got a chance to be part of ladies of hip hop showcase in NYC! Victoria can’t wait to share her love of dance with her students for years to come!

Meghan Veitch
BALLET, JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, LYRICAL, ACRO



 

Meghan has been teaching competitive dance for 10 years, winning several choreography awards and overalls. In recent years she has pursued casting and choreography for music videos with Montreal and Toronto based artists. Her passion is to bring dance opportunities to her students so they too can enjoy what dance has to offer. She holds a business degree and believes that well-rounded education is important for individual development. 

Originally from Grande-Prairie, Alberta, her passion has brought her east, in which she trained and graduated from the Quinte Ballet School of Canada’s Professional Training Program in Belleville, Ontario. She later moved to Toronto, obtaining a performance dance diploma from George Brown College, while also performing and training with contemporary and ballet companies; Cadence, Pro-Arte Danza and Ballet Nacional De Cuba. Following training, she taught at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, for both the recreational division and the Professional Summer Program. She has been in Montreal for the past 10 years, where she taught competitive teams of all ages. She is thrilled to be joining the State of Motion Team!

Majiza Philip 
TAP  (HOOFING)

Majiza Philip is a mentor, teacher, performer, choreographer, leader and tap dancer.  A home-grown talent hailing from from the historical black community of Little Burgundy,she is the granddaughter of Montreal's very own legendary rhythm tap queen from Harlem, Ethel Bruneau.  Majiza began her dance training at age of 3 under the strict eye of her grandmother. She and her sister were chosen by Gregory Charles to perform at the Governor General’s awards, becoming the first black minors to appear as part of this event and also performed at the 1998 Montreal Jazz Festival with the Vic Vogel big band. Following this she was a featured talent on Natalie Simard’s show Decibel. Teaching for over 15 years she was also the children's musical theatre choreographer at the Segal Centre from 2009-2013.

Alia Abbas
Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballroom 
 

Alia began dancing at the age of 3, and hasn’t looked back since. She is trained is various styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap and ballroom. She grew up in the competitive dance world, receiving lots of recognition, such as being invited to New York for Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), one of the most prestigious ballet competitions in the world. She has received many scholarships, and attended several training intensives, such as ProArteDanza, all around Canada and the U.S. She was accepted into professional ballet programs such as The Joffrey School of Ballet in New York and L’École Supérieure de Ballet du Québec. Alia’s love for the performing arts has also led her to train in acting and singing, to expand her options in the field. She continues to work in the industry, performing on TV programs such as Chanteurs Masqués, and in promos on platforms like Mammouth Hebdo. She is also currently competing in the latin ballroom world. Alia has now found a love for teaching and choreographing. She finds it very rewarding to see her students grow and develop the same love for dance that she has.
